Mr. Ahmed Al-Amali, the Director General of the Iraqi Business Council, attended the invitation of Jordanian Prime Minister Dr. Omar Al-Razzaz on Wednesday, 05/09/2018 to attend the meeting to solve the problems of investors and obstacles facing their investments in Jordan at the Jordanian Prime Minister’s Office.

The meeting was attended by the Minister of State for Vestment Mr. Muhannad Shehadeh and the staff of the Prime Minister. The Council was attended by the Chairman of the Iraqi Business Council Dr. Majed Al Saadi, Vice President and Secretary Mr. Saad Naji and member of the administrative board Eng. Makki the winner and members of the Council Mr. Ahmed Al-Amali, General Council. 

During the meeting, the participants discussed the problems of the tourism sector, the industrial sector, the energy sector, the renewal of investor residences, the facilitation of visa granting to Iraqis to visit Jordan, the problems faced by investors in e-government applications, the sales tax on imported loans, And to allow the Iraqis to work for Iraqi companies in Jordan, and to treat the investor family as an investor regardless of the period of time he has established in Jordan upon renewal of residency for five years. 

Prime Minister Dr. Omar Al-Razzaz promised to study all the problems mentioned above and find realistic solutions to them. He also promised to issue the Electronic Crimes Law to prevent the extortion of media investors and the formation of a joint committee between the Iraqi Business Council and the Jordanian Economic Group to follow- The President of the Republic convened periodic meetings to follow up the points discussed during this meeting. 

At the end of the meeting, the Chairman and members of the Iraqi Business Council thanked the President of the State for the warm welcome and the organization of this meeting as the price of his country the role of Iraqi investors in maximizing investment in the Hematite Kingdom of Jordan.
